Zwölf Monate. Zwölf Bilder. Eine Reise durch die Welt des Tees.
Tee prägt Landschaften, schafft Rituale und verbindet Menschen und Kulturen rund um den Globus. Mit unserem Kalender t-Momente 2027 holen wir zwölf besondere Augenblicke aus dieser Welt an die Wand.
Die Reise beginnt in den hoch gelegenen Teegärten des Alishan-Gebirges in Taiwan. Sie führt zu „forest-friendly tea“ im Norden Thailands, in die Shire Highlands von Malawi und zu einer Teefarmerin nahe Porto. Wir besuchen einen Tea Culture Club in Amsterdam, erleben die Hamburger Speicherstadt als traditionsreichen Ort des Teehandels und schauen im chinesischen Jingmai Shan bei der Ernte von jahrhundertealten Teebäumen zu.
Dabei geht es nicht nur um Orte, sondern vor allem um Momente der Teekultur: um Menschen bei der Ernte, um eine dampfende Tasse in großer Landschaft, um Teezeremonien und um die Pflanzen, aus denen alles beginnt. Im November etwa bereitet die „Teenomadin“ Katrina Wild ihren Tee bei Sonnenaufgang auf einem Berg in Japan zu; im Dezember zelebriert Agha Mitra, Gründerin des Prague Tea Fest, Gong Fu Cha im Schnee.
Die zwölf großformatigen Fotografien stammen von internationalen Fotografinnen und Fotografen sowie aus dem Umfeld der porträtierten Teekulturen. Das zurückhaltende Kalendarium lässt den Bildern viel Raum. Sämtliche Bildtexte und Monatsangaben sind Deutsch und Englisch.
„t-Momente 2027“ ist ein Begleiter durchs Jahr für Menschen, die Tee lieben – und für alle, die neugierig darauf sind, wie vielfältig die Welt hinter einer Tasse Tee sein kann.

Tea shapes landscapes, creates rituals and connects people and cultures across the globe. With our t-Moments 2027 calendar, we bring twelve special moments from this world to your wall.
The journey begins in the high-altitude tea gardens of the Alishan Mountains in Taiwan. It takes us to ‘forest-friendly tea’ in northern Thailand, to the Shire Highlands of Malawi and to a tea farmer near Porto.
We visit a Tea Culture Club in Amsterdam, explore Hamburg’s Speicherstadt as a historic centre of the tea trade, and watch the harvest of centuries-old tea trees in Jingmai Shan, China.It’s not just about places, but above all about moments of tea culture: people harvesting tea, a steaming cup set against a vast landscape, tea ceremonies, and the plants from which it all begins.
In November, for example, ‘tea nomad’ Katrina Wild prepares her tea at sunrise on a mountain in Japan; in December, Agha Mitra, founder of the Prague Tea Fest, celebrates Gong Fu Cha in the snow.The twelve large-format photographs are by international photographers as well as those from the tea-cultures featured. The understated calendar layout leaves plenty of space for the images.
