Issue No. 1 of m – Matcha Magazine
Cover story:Taste, health, warmth: what makes matcha so special
Matcha Magazine is a corporate publication produced on behalf of and in collaboration with Aiya Europe.
Hardly anything connects Japanese culture with the rest of the world in such diverse ways as matcha. Matcha was the elixir of monks and samurai and remains to this day at the heart of the Japanese tea ceremony. As such, it is deeply rooted in Japanese art, culture and philosophy. At the same time, matcha and matcha latte are the trendiest drinks of the moment; matcha cuisine is taking the world by storm. Behind this green powdered tea lie countless facts and stories: from its long history, through cultivation and processing, to its health benefits.
With this issue, Matcha Magazine sets out to tell you all about it! It is the first print magazine entirely dedicated to matcha, in all its diversity. To this end, AIYA, the world’s largest matcha producer, has chosen t-Magazine as its partner.
